Associate Pastor

This is a yearly contract with option for renewal.

Overall Purpose of This Role

To assist LifeBridge in fulfilling its mission and vision as an associate pastor and worship leader.

Organizational Role

Reports to Lead Pastor and Elders.

Overall Scope of Role:

Work closely with and report to church leadership.
Encourage unity and effectiveness with each ministry leader in their respective area of ministry
Pray regularly for church family.
Sign and uphold Leadership Manifesto.
Know, communicate, and join the mission and vision of LifeBridge.

First Commitment: Being a disciple who makes disciples.

Weekly Reproducible Discipleship with Lead Pastor for first few months.
Guided Learning Experience (GLE).
20/20 Review last Sunday of each month.
Participate in approved personal growth plan.
Other goals as determined by leadership.

Second Commitment: Worship Leadership.

Lead, alongside others, to develop a plurality of worship leaders within LifeBridge.
Recruit volunteers
Schedule and execute regular rehearsals.
Develop and communicate schedules, needs, and plans to worship team members in a timely manner.
Complete weekly order of worship early in the week and upload to Planning Center.
Communicate weekly with pastor about weekly messages and with audio/video lead about AV needs and practice schedule.
Regularly nurture team members to develop a heart of service and worship.
Organize and keep inventory of musical instruments and materials.
Other tasks deemed necessary by the pastor.

Other Key Contribution Areas: The candidate should consider one or two of these supplementary commitments. Not ALL of these areas are expectations, but are possible responsibilities based on gifting and interest.

Support package with housing options will be discussed on an individual basis, based on needs and availability. LifeBridge would also consider assistance with a visa if needed. This position may be a 20-40 hour per week job, depending on agreement with candidate. The possibility of outside fundraising or remote work may be part of the agreement.
